Palm Beach County Hospital to Break Ground

South Florida Business Journal, May 1, 2026

A hospital and medical office building operated by Jupiter Medical Center will soon break ground in the Avenir community of Palm Beach Gardens. Avenir Development, part of Coral Gables-based Landstar Development, the master developer of Avenir, sold about 13 acres on the north side of Northlake Boulevard for $4.99 million to SFG PBG Medical LLC, a joint venture between Palm Beach Gardens-based Sina Cos. and Atlanta-based Stonemont FinancialGroup. They leased the property to nonprofit Jupiter Medical Center.

According to Jupiter Medical Center, its Avenir Campus will have a two-story hospital of 53,000 square feet with 29 beds, four operating rooms, an emergency department, and imaging, plus a three-story medical office building of 47,000square feet. The project should break ground in June and be completed in early 2028.

This will be the second hospital for Jupiter Medical Center, and it will expand its reach west into the growing community of Avenir, which is approved for 3,650 homes.
