Palm Beach County Golf Course Sold for $191M
South Florida Business Journal, July 21st, 2026
The Panther National golf course in Palm Beach Garden’s Avenir community sold for $191.2 million to a Texas-based firm. The sale of the Jack Nicklaus- and Justin Thomas-designed course was one of the biggest golf course sales in South Florida in years, and that doesn’t involve redevelopment.
Centaur (Palm Beach) Owner LLC, an affiliate of Switzerland-based Centaur Holdings, sold the 392-acre property with an 18-hole championship course and a nine-hole par-3 course at 10391 Panther National Blvd. to PN Owner LLC, part of Austin, Texas-based Ohana Real Estate Investors. The buyer already lists Panther National among the resorts and golf clubs on its website. JPMorgan Chase Bank provided a $115 million mortgage to the buyer.
The deal also included about 150 unsold home lots in the 218-unit PantherNational community. The homes start at over $1 million.
West Palm Beach-based Sunrise Realty Trust (Nasdaq: SUNS) also announced that its mortgage on Panther National was repaid as part of the transaction. That loan was made for $160 million in 2024.
The golf course opened in 2023 and the 58,000-square-foot clubhouse is slated to open this fall, featuring a restaurant, wine bar, fashion and golf shop, locker rooms, a fitness center, an event lawn and a courtyard with fire pits.
