Palm Beach Gardens Western Restaurant and Shopping Hub with Publix, More, Nears an Opening A Mini-Downtown Area with Shops and Restaurants at Avenir in Palm Beach Gardens is Set to Open in the Summer of 2026.

Nearly 20 restaurants, shops and a modern-style Publix are under construction at Avenir, a Palm Beach Gardens community of more than 1,200 homes off Northlake Boulevard west of Florida’s Turnpike.

The new stores will make up the “Town Center,” which will be a mini-downtown area where residents can shop near their homes. It is expected to open in the summer of 2026, according to a spokesperson. Once the community is fully built out, Avenir will have more than 4,000 homes.

“This marks a significant milestone for Avenir, as the thriving community continues to evolve and gain recognition as a premier destination for residents and businesses alike,” a statement from the spokesperson said.

The first phase of Avenir Town Center’s construction includes six buildings, but the city has approved up to 29 buildings there, an agent for the community’s developer said. The complex will have more than 200,000 square feet of retail space once it is completed.

Seven structures stand there now, but crews are still working on finishing each of them, a spokesperson for the developer said.

Nineteen stores are slated to open at Avenir Town Center. Many will open in summer 2026, but some timelines are unknown at this point, the spokesperson said.

• Publix is a leading supermarket in Florida that sells dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat, fresh produce and baked goods. The town center will also get a Publix Liquors store.
• Walgreens will be the only pharmacy at Avenir Town Center, its spokesperson said. Walgreens has about 800 locations in Florida.
• Venetian Nail Spa is a nail salon with stores in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee and Kentucky. It has two other locations in Palm Beach Gardens, with one at Alton Town Center and another at Legacy Place.
• Kitchen Restaurant is an American restaurant with steak, seafood dishes, hamburgers and salads. It has other locations in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.
• Field of Greens is a salad, sandwich and juice restaurant that has six locations in Palm Beach County.
• Carmela Toast and Coffee Bar brews its coffee with beans from its farm in Costa Rica. Carmela’s first location opened in Broward County, but its footprint is moving northward with 10 locations in Palm Beach County and more planned.
• Man Cave Barber Shop offers haircuts, hair coloring, shaving, and skin and nail services for men. It has 11 other locations in Palm Beach County.
• H&H Bagels sells all-natural bagels made without artificial preservatives. It has one other location in Palm Beach County.
• Taki Kappo Omakase is a Japanese restaurant which sells customized sushi and sashimi dishes. It has two other locations in Palm Beach County.
• Velocity Community Credit Union offers banking services.
• Miles Art Gallery is a Jupiter-based art gallery that features contemporary art.
• Marciano Optique sells eyeglasses, sunglasses and has vision care services.
• Smoke and Maple Restaurant is opening its first location at Avenir. It will sell food, craft cocktails and local beers.
• Kevin James Salon offers hair and makeup services. It has one other location at Alton in Palm Beach Gardens.
• Seppe Pizza Bar is a modern neighborhood pizzeria with dishes ranging from chicken wings to octopus and chicken parmesan. It has two other locations — both in New York.
• deFabrique Aesthetic Dentistry offers dental services for people of all ages.
• Mr. Golf Cart sells golf carts and accessories. It has one other location in Lake Park.
• Sloan’s Ice Cream sells ice cream, sundaes, milk shakes and more. It has five other locations in Palm Beach County.
