South Florida’s Newest Ultra-Luxury Private Community Blends an Active, Golf-Centered Lifestyle With Modern Elegance and Sophistication

Links Magazine, Fall 2024

Since opening in 2023 as the first modern golf and lifestyle community in Florida’s Palm Beach County in nearly two decades, Panther National has been in relentless pursuit of perfection.

The centerpiece of the gated 400-acre development, envisioned by Swiss entrepreneur Dominik Senn, is its Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, built in collaboration with two-time major champion Justin Thomas. Upward of three million cubic yards of dirt was shifted to craft a layout unlike anything else in Florida, featuring elevated shots, manmade lakes, imaginative bunkering, diverse green shapes, and Tour level scale, with tees stretching from 4,500 to 8,000 yards. Following a November 2023 grand opening, showcasing an event with an elite list of pros who have signed on as Panther National Ambassadors, the club recently went to work modifying a half dozen holes, owing to their commitment to continuous enhancement of the course’s playability and aesthetic appeal.

Complementing the championship course, the golf enthusiast has access to an evolving list of experiences beginning with Panther9, a short course with holes ranging from 90 to 150 yards that includes a TPC Sawgrass-inspired island green; a 30,000-square-foot, Nicklaus-designed putting course called “The Cub”; and premier practice areas with Trinity Zoysia target greens. Construction is starting in November on an all-season Golf Performance Training Center—home to a golf fitting center, putting laboratory, three hitting bays, and café. Also in late 2024, the Panther National Clubhouse breaks ground, a 66,000-square-foot wonder containing multiple dining venues including a Michelin-inspired restaurant, a wine bar and cellar, a state-of-the-art fitness center and locker rooms, and a courtyard with fire pits.

Next fall, development begins on the Lifestyle Club, expected to open in 2027, offering a holistic wellness experience for residents. The wide range of resort-style amenities will include a Racquet Center with courts for tennis, pickleball, and padel; community and fitness-focused pools; world-class spa services; and gourmet dining options.

Interested homebuyers can take their pick from Panther National’s Signature Estates—a range of semi-custom three- to five-bedroom residences stylishly curated by celebrated architect Max Strang—or choose to build a Custom Estate on a limited supply of lots that offer views of either the golf course or the 2,400-acre nature preserve that borders the property.
